‘+1’ Initiative to Move SNEC Schools from Good to Great by Sandra Dombrowski
The Southern New England Conference educational task force has implemented a new initiative that appeals to all church members to support schools conference wide. Each member is invited to voluntarily contribute 1% of their income to the +1 fund, which is overseen by the education department. The money is intended to “go toward the extras in the classroom such as curriculum and technology resources, capital improvement on campus, professional development, even up to building a new school if need be.”
