Andrews Teaching and Learning Conference Call for Papers

Adventist educators are invited to attend the twenty-second annual Andrews University Teaching and Learning Conference (AUTLC) on March 27, 2025. Continuing the 150th year celebration of Andrews University’s Seventh-day Adventist higher education, the conference theme is: Founded in Excellence, Forward in Innovation

The conference will have in-person and virtual options. We invite educators to share reports of significant work in practice, theory, research, development, applications, and societal issues from across the field of education, especially in the following areas:

  • Digital Teaching and Learning (In-person, Online, AI…)
Content Area Teaching and Learning (STEAM, Literacy, Numeracy, ELA…)
Diversity and Inclusion
Faith Engagement
Partnerships with Families and Communities
Interdisciplinary Collaborations
Trauma-Informed Approaches

Submit proposals to present virtually or in person using this online form by February 3, 2025

Chair and Director of Special Education, School of Education, Andrews University. Ph.D. Special Education, Florida State University. M.S. Special Education, Indiana University. B.A. Elementary Education, Purdue University. I have worked in the educational system (elementary, special education, behavior and college level) in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Florida. Prior to coming to Andrews University I worked on a large research grant through the National Institute of Child Health and Development while working at Florida Center for Reading Research/Florida State University.
